FAQs:
- Skateworld of Kettering allows Birthday Cake, Cupcakes and Ice Cream Cups when holding a scheduled birthday party. No other outside food or drink are allowed at any time in the facility. Please note we do not have freezer space for ice cream cakes.
- Please note that Groupons are not related to our birthday party packages. They can not be used to hold parties, add on to parties, or pay for parties.
- There is an additional charge for each guest you add to your party. We count a guest as a person that will receive anything the original guests received, and any child that attends your party.
- There is no charge for adult spectators Monday-Saturday. If they decide to skate they pay a discounted rate at the Admissions window that does include skate rental. They do not receive the items your guests received. On Sundays we require all patrons entering Skateworld of Kettering to pay admission which includes All You Can Eat Pizza. Non Skating Adults are $6.75.
- We only accept Cash, Credit Card or Debit Card for payment. When using any card there is a 4 % card convenience fee for all purchases.
- A minimum $100.00 Non-Refundable Deposit is required within 72 hours of booking party. The deposit is credited towards your balance. Please note all deposits and payments are non-refundable (No Matter the paid amount). If you need to cancel the party the deposit will be forfeited, however if you need to reschedule we can transfer the deposit up to 2 times. If party is booked less than a week before the event date payment in full will be required at time of booking.
- Once a party has its deposit paid you are unable to downgrade your package. (We will already have order items for this booking and held the space from another booking)
- Any coupons or discounts must be presented at the time of deposit. They are not accepted once the deposit has been paid.
- Invitations are included in all Birthday Packages. They are a Postcard style and must be picked up from Skateworld if you wish to use them.
- Your reserved table is for 2 hours. After that time you may be asked to move to public seating where you may continue to skate at no charge if there is still time during the session.
- If your party receives ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA, your party will be given wristbands allowing the guests to go to café to get 1 slice per child or 2 per adult, at a time. Your Party Server will bring out ONE slice of pizza per guest during serving. Please note the free upgrade to ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA on Sundays is only available for the guests in your party package.
- You may arrive 10-15 minutes before your party for setup as your table will not be ready prior to that time. Confetti, piñatas, and hanging items may not be brought into the facility, however balloons and table top decorations are fine.
- If you would like to use your own decorations they must be brought in no later than 4pm on the Friday before your scheduled birthday party. Any items left after your scheduled birthday party will not be held on to. All items left will be thrown out at the end of the night. Sorry for any inconvenience, we do not have the space to hold onto everyone’s things. We do not allow outside vendors for set up during a public birthday party, NO Photo Booths, Balloon Arches or Towers, No Confetti or Pinatas as well as nothing can be taped to ceilings or walls.
- Seating is provided for the Party Guests only. While the children are skating, adults and spectators are more than welcome to use that seating. While the children are eating many parties have the adults stand around the table to celebrate since this only takes a short time. If you would like additional seating for adults, there is a $25 table fee per table. If you need an additional table, advanced reservations are required. Special Requests for tables are not a guarantee on selected seating. If you have a special table location in mind it is $25.00 per table needed.
- Party related items may only be brought in if you are holding a purchased birthday party package through Skateworld of Kettering. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- If inclement weather does occur, we will gladly move your party to a different date.
